Introducing Chipper’s Dog Treats!

Chipper, our Smooth Collie, enjoys dehydrated meats I prepare for treats. I began the dehydration process as a healthy alternative to processed, commercial-grade dog foods that were proving often to be only empty calories and, in some instances, dangerous.

Using my home-processed treats as high-value reinforcement, Chipper is most eager to learn, enthusiastically offering behaviors, and quickly learning new cues in order to earn these tasty rewards.

In class, at trials, on walks, just about everywhere, other dogs are also keenly interested in Chipper’s treats. Sharing his treats, I see dogs learn and master skills, accomplishing tasks with speed and enthusiasm. At first, I thought dogs were responding eagerly to Chipper’s treats simply because the ‘grass is always greener on the other side.’ But, watching dogs race over to me for Chipper’s treats, I realized that dogs ‘do what they do to get what they want’—and they want Chipper’s Dog Treats!

Chipper’s Dog Treats are completely natural, with no preservatives or additives of any kind, and there is only one ingredient: meat. The heart and tongue are muscles, not filters for toxins like some other organs. And these treats are unique in their balance of being soft to chew for the dog yet dry to the touch for the handler. Also, I have seen underweight and ailing dogs encouraged to eat with Chipper’s Dog Treats mixed into meals and medicine.

• We use good quality, human-consumption grade meats from USDA Inspected sources.
• We follow FDA and USDA meat and poultry guidelines; pre-cooking and measuring heat with a food thermometer
before dehydration.
• We vacuum pack and store the treats frozen until delivery to you.

Inside the vacuum-sealed package, Chipper’s Dog Treats will stay fresh at indoor room temperatures for one to two months, though we recommend refrigeration or freezing to preserve freshness. After opening the vacuum seal, store treats in the refrigerator or freezer when not in use.

Chipper’s Dog Treats are healthy and great treats for rewards, training, and encouraging picky eaters! Your dog will love them! Chipper does!

I received a message from Irma Shanahan as follows:

"I’ve been contacted by a friend of mine who just had a litter of three mini poodles; all male. She would like very much to place at least one of them into a home where it can be titled in obedience, agility or rally.

If anyone has spoken to you recently or there is anyone you know who is looking for a poodle for an obedience prospect, please contact me."

Irma's email address is: irmashanahan@verizon.net
