Reporting Building Problems
Last Updated:9/10/2024
Routine Problems
Use the online reporting tool to report any
routine problems with the building. Routine problems include:
- general problems with the Oriole facility
- problem with training equipment (obedience, agility, flyball, etc)
- problems with trial/show equipment*
Remember, if you don't report it, no one may know about it. (And we have to know about it if it's going to get fixed).
A button directing you to this tool is found at the top of the private web page (odtc.clubexpress.com) or in the Facilities menu of the public page (www.orioledogclub.org) or you can just use this button: Submit An Action Requested Report
* (Note: if the broken equipment is necessary for an upcoming trial, you may want to consider it a more major problem and address it as per the next section)
Major Building Problems
Don't just submit an Action Requested Report if there is a
major problem. Major problems include such things as:
- sewage system backup
- loss of some critical building system (water, power, electricity, heating/cooling)
- the inability to secure the front door
- the inability to open the building
- a piece of equipment critical to the success/operation of an upcoming trial is broken or missing
In the event one of these problems happens, look for the sign on the front door that provides phone contact information for the responsible club officers that are currently responsible for major building issues. (For time-sensitive repair/replacement of a piece of agility/obedience equipment, contact the appropriate Training Director). If you cannot reach one of them, call other club officers if necessary.
Names of the club officers can be found here: Contact Us
Once you have found the name of an officer you want to contact, look them up here: Membership Directory
Emergencies
Do not wait to notify a club officer if you see a problem that must be dealt with in a timely manner by a First Responder such as fire or a crime/assault in progress.
Dial 911. You can tell the club officers about it later.
